Once I settled in to the dreaming is a social act thesis, I enjoyed it a lot more but at times felt I was missing that instinctive pull toward the work that I feel characterises so much of one's response to poetry. However, I did really enjoy the working of Marx that threads through, esp. that early poem in this one. I also think the other stuff I've read of Kay's I've preferred
