I actually really enjoyed this shorter ACOTAR story. It kind of settled everything after Wings & Ruin and established that moment of peace afterwards. After all the trauma & darkness that’s faced the characters, this was a nice little reprieve

Really enjoyed the 3rd instalment of ACOTAR, once again I got more into in the second half than the first, but was not disappointed at all. A lot of twists and turns I didn’t expect

After not fully loving ACOTAR I was sure I was going to feel the same with Mist & Fury, but oh my I loved it! The thing I didn’t love about ACOTAR was the first half which to me was mostly just world building, which I get is needed for fantasy novels, but left me waiting for things to happen. Whereas, Mist & Fury was drama from the get go and kept me invested all the way through. I loved it so much
Really enjoyed this little read, though I actually would’ve read a lot more from this dystopian world. It was very intriguing and a little snapshot into a horrified future in the world and the loss of humanity that comes with it. One small qualm for me was even though I love a short chapter, in the first half of the book almost 6 chapters were all set in the same location and it just seemed a bit odd to still be at the same place doing the same thing for 6 chapters.
Although I didn’t find it boring, I felt this book lacked some sense & order. The ‘hauntings’ were quite random and odd but there were occurrences in ever chapter so it was still entertaining, and the psychics abilities raised more questions for me which weren’t explained. Also, the the ending was just okay for me - there wasn’t much of a twist and just seemed a bit meh story wise.

Wasn’t sure what to expect from all the hype of ACOTAR on TikTok, I finally got round to reading it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Full on fantasy books don’t tend to be my go-to but this was very readable and entertaining. The first half was a little slow but the story built and built and by the second half I was fully invested in the plot and wondering what was going to happen
Was really interested in forensic psychology when I studied it and that’s what led me to this book. It was very insightful in regards to the foundations of FBI’s BSU and I did find it interesting. However, I did feel that the majority of it was revisiting cases Burgess worked on which I understand is a major part of her job and role, and there was less on the formation of the BSU. Generally, I just think the descriptions of forming the BSU were a bit vague and could’ve been in more detail

Having never seen the film or read the book prior I didn’t know what to expect. But my god it was so good! I’m so glad I read it before deciding the watch the film. This might just be my favourite King book

This book had me on a whirlwind. At first I wasn’t invested but was intrigued. Then I was back on board but quickly reverted to ‘wtf is going on’. And then the ending kinda ruined it again. It had a great concept but I think it could’ve been done better
