Fun caper with a larger-than-life main character.

This was a DELIGHTFUL modern spin on Persuasion. I adored every minute. Mr. Elliot in particular was a total hoot and I found myself laughing numerous times while reading.

Idk I had a love-hate relationship with this book. Too many characters, too many names. So much action I was dizzy. First half I struggled with, second half drew me in. Shoutout to Tairn and Ridoc, who were total MVPs. Despite my complaints I need to find out what happens in book 4 (whenever we are so blessed as to receive it).

Deliciously disturbing?? Not a likable MC, not a happy ending, but I loved it. Guilty binge.
