Wonderful! After reading about two pages, I thought nope, i'm definitely not gonna like this. But once I really gave it my fullest attention, this book gave me a whole new perspective. I loved reading the stories of each defect and learning what brought each of them to their new homes. It truly transformed my view on what privilege means and how I perceive poverty. I am definitely making life-style changes after this books.

Wow, this was a beautifully written story. Very creative and thought provoking. I watched the movie "Home" inspired by this book and love both stories. I would definitely recommend this for people of all ages. It is an inspiring tale of heroism and the limits we push.

This is my first John Green book, and I have to say, it was magnificent. I had watched "The Fault in Our Stars" and thought it was beautiful, but it pales in comparision to Mr. Green's writing. "looking for alaska" is witty, thought-provoking, and captivating. I will never read books the same again.

Girl on the Train is definitely a great book for young adults (15+). It teaches that we never really know a persob, no matter how long a relationship is maintained.
The book did explore great themes of abuse in many forms (alcohol, domestic etc), however I found it to be a bit anti climactic overall. There were moments where I struggled to put the book down because I was hooked, but again it wasn't a very dramatic ending.

One of the most interesting pieces I have ever read. At first I was not sure if I actually liked the book. But reflecting on it, it is a book that challenges the reader to keep an open mind page after page.
