Basically everyone in this book is blonde and they all share one brain cell.

This book is more of a contemporary story than a romance. It was emotionally heavier than I had anticipated.

This story gave a good description on living as a Palestinian in occupied Palestine. The simple act of taking interest in local history and wanting to learn more is almost comically inaccessible, let alone trying to do anything else. The symbolism of the story would be really interesting to dissect.

A brief but informative summary on the occupation of Palestine. A good starting point on the subject.

I loved the spice but the plot wasn’t doing it for me. I wish there was more time in between suitors. Also MC fell a bit flat for me.

I wish the plot and the world was a bit more fleshed out. The spice was immaculate. I loved Cinnamon as a heroine. Will be continuing this series!

Also, this is a great book to read if you like Baulder’s Gate 3 romance.

I really loved Amber Ruffin and Lacey Lamar as authors. I read Did You Hear What Happened to Lacey and started listening their podcast last year and I could listen to them talk forever. I love their dynamic.

This book is a bit more serious in tone but still keeps the sisters’ style. The audiobook is a must.
