I received this book as a ARC. Was not sure I was going to like it at first. Whoa! I was wrong! Turns and twists and the 🌶️🌶️🌶️ 🥵🥵. I know these kind of books are not for everyone but I say give it a try! I loved this one! Can’t wait for more!

Wicked but spicy Halloween book. Was definitely giving Haunting Adeline vibes. I liked the book just wish the story line was a little better and that it didn’t end so abruptly.

This was a great memoir about the rough upbringing and obstacles this young woman endured through her younger years. She thought she found a family that truly loved and cared for her and come to find out they used and manipulated her. She thought she found her happy ending with her husband and baby daughter to have her past come back to haunt her. She lets Jesus into her life to help guide her. It’s a lovely book and I am glad she was able to put her life back together and find peace with the lord by her side.

(Spoiler) This is probably one of the best books that I have read. Evelyn came from nothing. Using her looks to get out of the neighborhood she lived in referred to as Hell’s Kitchen. She worked her way up through making movies and becoming a star. Getting married to the most handsome tv star of her time only to start being abused physically by her new husband. To falling in love with a female co star and her being her one true love in a time when being gay was not acceptable. She did many things to hide her relationship and there was always heartbreak. She only had know true love not only as lovers but as a family unit with very few. It is a great story and a must read!

I really enjoyed reading this book! Other than one story I thought it was a great book to get into the Halloween spirit! Mirror, mirror was my favorite! A rewritten tale of Bloody Mary! Can’t wait for more spooky stories!
