A very charming little book. You can just feel the love the correspondents all had for literature and for each other.

Started off quite strong, but a few too many (unnecessary) hot scenes and the ending felt... random. Solid book, though.

This book ought to be classified as magical realism really. Also, why is the cat so mean?

This is just amazing. To see Mary change her character under the encouraging circumstances of a different location was so satisfying to read. I really hope the writer considers writing more fiction books!

I just really loved this book. Feminist and strong, this book really does paint a very believable alternate history.

I had a lot of difficulty separating the different main characters - Liz, Thelma, and Pat - from each other. Only in the final 30 pages or so did I really manage to connect to them. I did love the separate storyline of Liam. The ending was really good, tho.
