I read this one (an older novel) after reading a handful of her newer books and I can tell how much she’s evolved.

This was a quick read for me. I loved the “found family” trope. It does have triggers like fertility struggles, broken marriage, & failed adoption.

It’s not my favorite book by her but it wasn’t terrible either; really predictable but nonetheless, a good read to pass the time.

Jeneva never disappoints.
I thought it was a great read & sequel to The Perfect Marriage, which I ATE UP.

There were twists, that’s for sure. Easy & quick read.

It was a good read.
Reminded me a lot of The Perfect Child by LB.

Predictable for the most part. Yes, there was a twist but I saw that coming from a mile away. I didn’t like how stupidly gullible & naïve Joanne was… Like, lady. Get a grip, pleeeeease.
