Solid. Didn’t really care for the Zealot story but the rest was strong enough for me to give it a better rating. Could be better, but could be a lot worse.

Red Hood & Tim Drake’s stories were solid, but Batgirls & Grifter both just irritated me. I need the words “stinky cheeser” banned.

Really enjoyed this one. Grifter story was a bit boring again. Red Hood, Batwing, and Tim Drake’s were good, though.

Pretty engaging. The Grifter story has gotten marginally more interesting and the Red Hood one continues to play with my emotions.

I’m frankly shocked that I’m saying Red Hood was the best part of an issue two times in a row. Maybe I should invest some time into reading his solo run after all.

The Red Hood story in this anthology was a stunner, reminded me of that one Breaking Bad episode (Peekaboo). The Harley/Ivy bit was also good. The Grifter thing didn’t really interest me at all & kind of dragged.

Well, that ties up some loose ends from the Fear State collected edition, I suppose.

Not sure why I find the romance aspect boring in this case but I do. Been there done that, I guess.

Averaged my ratings of the issues included.

I really enjoyed this. Like I said in my review of The Fear State Saga, I really think at least the Fear State issues from here should have been included to help us get a fuller picture of the plot; considering how much I enjoyed those issues here, I think it would have been a much better choice.

Anyway: this was fun, emotional, and overall very aesthetically pleasing.
