También Esto Pasará [this Too Shall Pass] by Milena Busquets

Tessa has indeed grown on me and she's getting stronger; but I feel that her whole situation mostly gets casted aside during the book. Which bothers me a bit given that I'd love to see more of her and her power.
Jem continues to be sweet--but oh boy, I really want to know where THAT thing is heading.
About Will... Maybe I don't want him dead anymore. Maybe.
All the other characters keep getting better and better. *eyes to Sophie and Jessamine* So I really hope Clockwork Princess gets to be that explosive book everyone talked about. *fingers crossed*

Overall, Cassandra made a solid sequel that on some parts feels a little too stretched, and focused on the love interests than on the main plot. But at the end, a necessary set up to the next part of her story.

I'd never thought I'd find such a perfect book. Every illustration, every story, every freaking hero and villain. All here.

Really cool ending. Had me hooked with the action sequences and revelations.
One thing though was the repeating conflicts between the love interests and it all ended leaving me a bit underwhelmed.
Overall, awesome series and definitely way better than TMI. Looking forward to The Last Hours and The Dark Artifices.

I have never ever read anything quite like this.
With a stunning prose, Emily wrote a story of survival that puts aside typical apocalyptic elements and just focuses on what one can lose and end up missing.
At times I felt distant from the characters but later realized that that's the way it should be. Civilization collapsed, no one is the same way, therefore it won't feel the same way.
What really made me love this was how the author reminds you that, no matter how small or big, we continue to take everything for granted and that we should hold onto them instead.
