Reading this book was such a great way to stay in Daevabad a little bit longer! 🥺❤️

Daevabad trilogy was a fantastic adventure, full of plottwists that broke my heart and made me cry, with a cast of loveable characters I couldn't help but root for, even (or especially!) when they made mistakes.

Such a satisfying ending!!

Getting into this book I was expecting simple YA fantasy novel with "a chosen one" trope, run by a romance subplot with what looked like a basic love triangle.

I was proven wrong and I'm starting book two immediately after I'm done with writing this short note, because I CAN'T WAIT to know what's gonna happen next 👀

I find it frustrating how people who talk with each other so much can misscommunicate so badly!

I almost dropped this book after page one and realizing that the lack of punctuation isn't in fact an error in my ebook—I'm glad I didn't though, I got used to it. The writing is terribly beautiful and raw and made my heart ache a lot. Even though I wanted to shake both main characters on numerous occassions.

Great rep of neurodiversity, super rel at times. It wasn't 'just a  rom-com' and I cried WAY more than I've expected to, too (I mean it as a compliment).
