this was a cute read & definitely enjoyable however, the writing left something to be desired. there are a lot of side characters that appear often enough i would expect to care about them at some point in the book however, I never quite got there & found myself dreading when the book would go back to 2008. i also figured out the twist pretty much the first time it was foreshadowed. 

that said, I did enjoy the book overall. 

apologies for the shorter review; I’m on day three of not much sleep due to pain keeping me up.
