Though there were a couple tense moments, overall this installment of the Gladstone Shifters was all about their found family and new pups.

I can only surmise that this novel serves as a lovely palette cleanser before heading back into more danger and angst.

A most enjoyable read; I couldn't stop smiling.

Multilayered plot with good, bad, and downright ugly moments. It's so easy to get attached to these characters and their lives that you can't help but run the same emotional gauntlet they do.

I'm glad the author resolved one major conflict before alluding to the next. I can't wait to see what's to come for the Gladstone Pack.

OMFGs, what a beginning.

The plot, the characters, the setting, everything coalesced into one hell of a story and I can't wait to continue this series.

It takes a while for the spicy goodness to arrive, but you don't miss it with the charming cast, the intriguing and disturbing groundwork being laid for the conflict, and the villains lurking just awaiting their moment.

This is a new to me author and I'm excited to see what's in store next.

A sweet, wholesome, vampire family camping trip, with a little bit of spice.

Jay has my whole heart.

I didn't expect to love these two assholes, but here we are.

They're the perfect balance to each other's rough edges; finding their own humanity together after death.

Unlife is kinda funny that way.

Jay is the most precious vampire to ever exist and must be protected at all costs.

Blessed little cinnamon roll. 🥰

Alexei has his hands full with him.

Literally.

Perfectly matched.

Jamie is an absolute cinnamon roll with a spicy edge. Just what Luc needs in his life.

I don't usually go for villain redemption arcs, but Luc and Jamie had me rooting for a HEA from the start.
