The final book in the trilogy, wrapping up Sara and Jarik's beginning.

Enjoyable characters and an interesting world. I hope the author continues with more books in this setting, but hopefully with an increase in length.

Quick and dirty indeed. ✌🏻

The first of Trilogy that ends in a cliffhanger, though not a suspenseful one.

Dark, spicy, and just a fun read overall.

I'm definitely going to look for more by this author.

This is Alo and Miriam's love story, 5 long years in the making (fictionally speaking), although once again Iggy nearly steals the show.
(I love that boy with all my heart! So precocious.)

With a Gargoyle and a Pixie battling self-doubts, opening up to the possibilities of a life together, and an obstinate hellhound who just won't take a hint, it's a wild trip to their HEA.

This book is full of warm feels and absolute mirth. A true pleasure to read.

With each book in this series, my longing to live in Ever, MA grows more and more.

The digital edition I read contained an "introduction" by someone else, which was no intro but rather a personal dissertation on the author and a review of the book with spoilers. This individual even claimed to know Ms. Jackson's meaning and intent better than Ms. Jackson herself. 🤦🏻

Needless to say, the book itself is a wonderful work of Gothic fiction, but give the presumptuous "intro" a pass if your edition contains it.

A thrilling mystery with supernatural horror elements.

This book could've been a much darker horror novel, except the MC was such a cinnamon roll.

I enjoyed this unexpected facet as it added a softer emotional tone to the standard horror fare. While one might find themselves yelling at the MC to stop ignoring his instincts and run like hell, his motives for enduring all he does are both heartbreaking and heartwarming in equal measure. He's a genuinely good soul; a light to the darkness.

This was my first book by this author, but they've got me intrigued with their narrative style and I'm looking forward to reading more.
