I have loved alice for a long time and finally decided to read this. Honestly I loved it, but it is not perfect, of course she wrote it very young.
However I think I loved this so much because I was able to relate.

"snow lands on top"

Suzanne Collins is a genius of writing, the way she writes is so engaging and easy to read that makes the perfect stories.

I have loved all the other books and this one didn't disappoint, was incredible.

The characters, the plot, everything just makes sense together.

But anyway, snow go to therapy fr.

"Art is meant to disturb the comforted and comfort the disturbed"

I have no idea of what to say.
I loved this book in a way I cannot explain because, what the fuck.
Okay, so I got to start this by saying that they lied to me, this is not weird girl and all that, no, this is pure trauma.

Well, the whole thing keeps you perturbed, and I mean it, page three and I was already baffled. However I must say I enjoyed this book like I haven't in a while, amazing.
Not a book for everyone of course, but for me, yes, 10/10.

Well, they sold this book to me as a crazy unhinged girl story, but all I can say is, no, that is not what this is about. This story is about a girl that has been abused by every adult in her life and uses her imagination to cope, growing in this abusive society where she thinks she's not an earthling. All that happens is her coping, like I was crying (not literally). This story is sad.

Now, would I recommend this? Not really.
Most people won't enjoy this as it can be seen as actually perturbing, and yes, it is.

Now, I have so much to think for this, but I have no words at the same time because I loved it but at the same time I don't know?? But it is a 10/10.

--SPOILER--

Now, the ending? What? How did that happen? I am genuinely curious as to what the hell.

Apart from it, many people have acted as if the most perturbing scene was the dinner (cannibalism is in fact perturbing), but I'd like to disagree. To me, the most perturbing scene was that one with the teacher (the one from new years and the BJ) cause like, what the fuck?!?!
Now that might be my own trauma speaking, but I consider rape more perturbing than cannibalism??

Anyway. 10/10 book.
