Thoroughly enjoyed this book and the writing style, the multi storyline was really enjoyable.. however, probably should have picked a different book for when I'm on jury service

I loved the Dreamland billionaires series so thought I would give this one ago after seeing it in the works! I loved the crossover between characters from this series and Dreamland and the writing style! Will defo be reading the rest of this series as well!

I absoloutly loved this book, when I started I didn't think I'd like the writing style but in the end, it became so fast paced and I really enjoyed it! There are lots of twists and turns and 'whodunnit' moments which I love. I was trying to guess along with the trainee detectives who the murderer was and don't think I would have ever got to the final conclusion!
Very clever writing, will be reading more of Hallett for sure.

I found this book quite slow in the beginning, for around 1/4 of the book! But when it picked up, it REALLY picked up and I couldn't put it down! Lots of plot twists, thought I knew who the killer was too but NOPE

I enjoyed the storyline and characters throughout this book. I loved the romance, the friendships and the relationships which were made as well as the boundaries that were set towards the end of this book.
However, I did find this slightly predictable hence the slightly lower rating.. A PERFECT, EASY CHRISTMAS READ REGARDLESS THOUGH.

I loooove Lindsey Kelk and I loved this book, the writing style is perfect, a light and easy Christmas read which is exactly what I needed this time round.
At first, I found the book quite confusing as I didn't read the blurb of the book but I loved the concept of it and how Gwen had to figure out how to get out of the wish. I loved how there was a couple of laugh out loud moments in there. I would love to see a story where Cerys is the main character as I feel she had a lot going on which I would love LK to delve further into.

Don't get me wrong, i enjoyed this book, the characters and the writing style but what this book has taught me is that 500 page books a NOTTTT my thing! I struggled to keep the concentration I needed for this book after around 350 pages, however I loved the world that has been created.
Will I read the rest of the series? Probably, but I will be waiting and reading a lot of lighthearted books before I do.

I was really hoping to love this as I absoloutly adore TJR but this just didn't do it for me and I feel like it was the tennis lingo that did it for me! I still enjoyed the writing style and the characters especially Carrie and Bowe, but I just found th story hard to follow.
