This is truly the first book to disappoint me in the series. The book is mainly a copy and paste of the previous two. I mean word for word. I feel there was so much more potential to Illarion and Edilyn's story and feel left wanting less then half way through. I was beginning to think I had read the books out of order even with the amount of Son of No one that was recapped in this book.

To save you all time Illarion's story picks back up in chapter 27.

I certainly hope the next book is better or I may have to give up on the series.

You know those authors that just pull you in every time?

Heather never fails to be one of those authors for me. The kings series has never disappointed, as a matter of fact they get better with each book. Heather is an author that has that magical ability to capture your attention from the start and keep you there until the book is over and you waiting impatiently for the next book. Stocking Facebook for update and count downs until the next release. As usual I have devoured The Nightmare King and cannot wait for The Dragon Kind this fall!
