I loved this book so much but the romantic angst killed me, mainly the angst between Remy and Zidan. I wish they would communicate better.

Such an amazing book. Love the plot, the characters and the atmosphere so much. I also loved that it was seeped in folk lore and faerie tales. 

I kind of wish they’d expanded more on the folk lore and the fae though because apart from the Faerie King and Angharad’s story, we don’t hear about any other aspects of the fae or the existence of any other creatures.

Really loved the magic system, the writing and the characters. Have so much love and admiration for Alex - she’s so strong <3 

Felt like the plot could have done with a bit more umph though. It felt like a long while before anything happened which made it drag a little.
