I wasn’t excepting to like this book and I didn’t I loved it!! Hannah is amazing and I love how she calls Fox out anytime he tries to hide his true feelings or self from her. She always makes him face reality. The spice in this book was great too especially the orange bottle scene. The tension that is built in that scene is on another level. Such a great read. I would highly recommend for people who live romcom books.

This is a prequel in the Heston U series. In this novella we get to meet Lainey and Alex and see how the 2 of them fell in love. It’s a fate dating, brother’s best friend, boy obsessed novella. The Heston U series is a college hockey romance made up of stand-alone interconnected stories. This novella brought me right back into Heston University and made me fall back in love with the hockey boys.  Veronica of course brought the spice as she always does and the plot. I love how supportive Alex is of Lainey’s love of romance books and actually buddy reads with her! Can’t wait for this series to continue and to see which hockey star we get to fall in love with next.

I loved this book even more than the first. In book 2 we get even more details about the stalker and what Madison Kate’s dad is really like. There is finally a group scene (extra hott) and we are learning more about why the 3 guys are there to protect Madison Kate. This book was wonderful and made me not want to stop. It again ends on a bit of a cliffhanger but I had to pause the series for some ARCs that were due. I am excited to jump back into Shadow Grove and see what will happen next.

I have been putting off starting this series and I have no idea why. Tate James does such an amazing job at sucking you into her stories. This is the second series I have read written by Tate James and I can’t stop reading it. It is a college romance with enemies to lovers and a reverse harem. Madison Kate is a brat which I love especially when that bratty character has an equally bratty male counterpart. The 3 guys are all hot and have such a close relationship. I love how Madison Late has a different connection with each of them. Book 1 does end on a cliffhanger which has me immediately starting the second one.

Ever has been arrested for blackmailing Peter and the guys just stood there. She now has to trust her gut that they do believe her and that they are trying to prove her innocent. While waiting, she turns to Hook as he is the only one that seems to have her back. Ever knows that she needs to get in contact with the guys so that they can fight back against Peter and save Wendi. This is the final book in the Lost Boys of Neverly Prep series. It is a reverse harem high school romance. I enjoyed the series as a whole and thought it had a great ending. The spice was okay, I wish there were more group scenes. This is a great introduction into the reverse harem world with a story that is a quick read.

Logan’s life has been flipped upside down. She is being taken from the poor side of the tracks and is thrust into the world of the upper class. Along with having to move into a new house and start a new school, she now has a soon to be new step brother. Carson loves his mom and is excited that she is having her boyfriend move in with them, what he wasn’t expecting was him to have a daughter and one that he seems obsessed with as much as Logan. He is determined to ignore his feelings and torture her so she leaves his school. The thing about Logan is, she doesn’t give up easily and will take Carson down with her. This is a step brother romance with some bully aspects. I enjoyed this book but found Logan’s character to start diminishing as the story continued. The spice was hot which is probably what kept my interest. Overall, I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to someone starting out in the dark romance/taboo books.

Blake Easton is the captain of the Heston University hockey team and has always had one thing as his focus, making it to the NHL. After a tough loss to their rival Elmwood, Blake and the guys head to the local bar to blow off some steam. Once they get there they realize the Elmwood hockey team is also there. After a few, the most beautiful girl he has ever seen gets on the bar and starts dancing. The Elmwood hockey team seem to be trying to hit on her and Blake has decided if anyone is leaving the bar with her it will be him. Maya has grown up around hockey and the boys that play since her brother plays college hockey. She doesn’t let him or the guys tell her what to do and if she wants to dance on a bar than she will. When a handsome guy asks if the Elmwood hockey team is bothering her, she decides that her brother and his teammates need a pay back and lets him sweep her off the bar and leave. There is no way she is actually going home with him but what her brother doesn’t know won’t kill him. Who is this mystery guy and will Maya see him again? This is a sports/hockey romance. It is a feel-good story with little conflict. I am a huge hockey fan and this book was beyond amazing. I could not put this book down and when I wasn’t reading it I was thinking about it nonstop. It had me laughing, panting, and crying. Veronica Eden just has a way of making characters that you can’t help but to fall madly in love with. Blake Easton is the ultimate book boyfriend! I can’t wait for the rest of the series to come out, Heston U all the way!

The final chapter of Alex and Evie is here along with the series finally! Evie has escaped her attempted kidnapping and can’t wait to get back to Alex to apologize for everything she said to him before he left for school that morning. Once she is rescued and makes her way back to Stephano’s house she is so out of it that when she sees Alex coming towards her she doesn’t notice the difference in his eye color. Alex wakes up as a hostage along with Evie’s younger brother Zayden. Alex will do whatever he can to help keep Zayden safe and away from danger. He knows that his Family is coming for him, he just hopes that he can survive until they can get to him. This was an epic ending to a series I have been in love with for over a year now. I can’t believe it has lasted so long and has kept me on the edge of my seat over and over again. Seb and Stella will always be my #1 but the series as a whole does an amazing job at making you fall in love with each couple. I am so sad to say goodbye to Knight’s Ridge but excited to see what Tracy will come out with next.

Persephone has always been viewed as the perfect obedient daughter. That all changes when her mother promises her to Zues, the leader of their community and suspected of making his last 3 wives disappear. Persephone cannot take this news and runs away after their engagement is announced. She finds herself at the edge of hightown, when men come after her. She is forced to cross the River Styx and runs straight into the arms of Hades. She always thought he was a myth but here he is saving her. Will Persephone return and marry Zeus or will this dark and mysterious man change her life forever? This is book 1 in the Dark Olympus series. It has themes of forced proximity and marriage of convenience. It also has some exhibitionisim and Dom/sub relationship scenes that are super spicy. I enjoyed this book a lot and thought the way Hades and Persephone’s relationship grew was beautiful. I especially enjoyed all the scenes in Hades dungeon! Anything by Katee Robert usually is full of spice!
