this book was a brilliant read. i found it hard to put down and got through it really fast. i connected with main characters and i found myself wanting all the good things they wanted for their sake. i’m left somewhat saddened by the ending but the read itself was immensely enjoyable.

a brilliant story. however, i found myself enjoying it less than its predecessors. the pacing felt slower too. when reading, i feel as though i empathised less with the characters in comparison to the previous books and that i was ready for there story to come to an end

I really enjoyed reading “pachinko.” I was taken to a whole new time and place in the world and was enraptured by it. It was as much a joy and pleasure to read as it was a learning experience.
