Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros

It's like... I'm never going to get tired of shitting on these books. Objectively, they are not great in terms of writing and the plot is still decently predictable. I'm low key angry this book wrangled over 4 stars out of me.

But I have SO MUCH FUN READING THESE BOOKS and the ending of this one was a fun twist so like obviously I'm going to keep reading them. Sigh. You got me, Rebecca Yarros.

If She Knew by Blake Pierce
Did not finish book. Stopped at 5%.

I immediately DNF'ed when the author spent paragraphs telling me how hot this lady detective was and how objectified she was because of it but it's ok because she secretly likes the attention and she's in her 50s now but don't worry her body's still rocking. Gross man, do better. 0/5
