I could not click with the plot or characters. It reminded me of Crazy Rich Asians meets something...maybe Devil Wears Prada? I can't think of what else it reminds me of but just the sense a hardworking FMC that doesn't come from much gets caught up in the false life of high society until she's exposed... The intention was there but I just wasn't really into it.

This was like a Polish fairytale inspired Beauty and the Beast and was done really well! Lots of great magic and a fun read. Even the end was bittersweet but so well done and really tied the story up.

I loved the overall mysteryish plot this book had. There were a lot of characters but each had their own personality so no one felt lost in the mix. The growth of characters were done well. Overall a really great read.

Good plot, loveable characters, fun setting. I still think nothing will beat Butcher & Blackbird. I really enjoyed that this storyline was intermixed with the other two. It was fun to be reminded of the other two stories and go "I remember when that happened!".

If you like Bojack Horseman, you will like Matthew Perry's memoir. That's all I could think of while listening to him talk about his highs, lows, and everything. Granted, I realize Bojack Horseman is based on Hollywood life and struggles but to actually listen about it in Matthew Perry's book really hit hard. I appreciate he took the time and effort to write his memoir, I never realized how low he was across the years.
