Cute! This is my favorite of this author's. It has everything for a romantic comedy - great story, great character development, cute MMC, fun setting. I really enjoyed this one!

Adam's pov!!! This makes me even more excited for this series' love triangle but I might have to declare Team Warner right now haha.
The Fall Risk by Abby Jimenez

How does Abby Jimenez create an entire story with multiple character arcs and leave you with so many emotions and swoony feelings in just 80 pages?! She's a godsend.

“So you have a fish?” I asked. “Yeah. A betta fish.” “Oh. Does he have a name?” “He does. Swim Shady.” I barked out a laugh. “Is he the real Swim Shady or . . .” “All the other Swim Shadys are just imitating,” he said, totally serious.
“Sometimes the start of something good begins during something bad,” he said. “We don’t get to pick when these things happen.”

I'm actually really disappointed I didn't love this as much as many other people. I love a grumpy cowboy and all but.... I could not click with anything in this book. Super sad and disappointed.

I was so thrilled to get Sage's story! Fun setting and young/new adult love!
Hot British Boyfriend by Kristy Boyce

Kristy Boyce is such a comfort author for me now. I absolutely love her take on YA. I love the inner nerd/child of her main characters. I love her inclusivity of all her characters. This was such a fun read.

"I like my men the way I like my tea. Hot and British"
"It's not dumb if you love it."

Fireworks and Forever by Noel Jade

It was fine - would make for a cute hallmark movie. There was nothing wrong with it, I just couldnt get into the story or the characters.
Our Fault by Mercedes Ron

This series was 2 books too long. This book itself was 300 pages too long. I really feel like it should have been left at the first book and that's it. This series reminds me of the After series and I dnf'd that series.... I should have dnf'd this series too. I did enjoy the plot/climax that happened at the end but everything else in the middle was just such repetitive unnecessary drama.... it was too much.

Saved the best for last in my Lovelight journey. I loved this love story so much! It was so cute. It was such a sweet story that I didn't expect the level of spice it had but it just made it all the better.

“Why are you giving these guys your time? Why are you settling for crumbs when you deserve the whole damn cake?”
"You wear orange," he says again. "On Tuesdays. Sometimes it's just a scarf in your hair, other ties it's your dress or these little ornage shorts that I swear took to to seven years off my life." He blows out a deep, gusting breath and scrubs his hand against the back of his head. "And you drink chamomile tea in the afternoons. You get a line right here," he says, dragging the tip of his finger at the corner of my mouth. "When you're excited and trying to hide it."
