This is a monster of a book. I had to push myself through the full book because I didn't want to DNF the book due to its reviews. It had it's moments, and when Beth died... Gosh, I was heartbroken. However, I promptly DNFed the book after Amy and Laurie began to fall in love, and soon announced their wedding. I was really upset with the last outcome, because I had been shipping Laurie and Jo for about 650 pages, and to find out that it wasn't going to happen, well, it was upsetting. Overall, I would recommend this to a friend who has no care for romance and ships. But I would recommend this to ges 9-11, due to the writing style used.

This series was very fluffy, and quick. It was amusing and fun. However, I found the main protagonist a very annoying person. At times I was punching a pillow due to her stupidity. Maxon-The love interest, was a very cute, and likeable character. Overall, I would recommend this to a friend. Age recommendation- 12-18

Compared to Sarah Dessen's other works, this one didn't really compare. I found it very slow, and dull. But I enjoyed it at times.

This book was very slow. It had a very interesting concept and plot. But the whole time, the main protagonist; John/Four, was an extremely arrogant character, and the whole book was him whining about his love interest; Sarah. He was willing to risk the team's lives for her, although they had only met a short time back. It was just such an unnecessary romance. However, the second book was WAY better, and I'm not really motivated for the third book, becuase I've been spoiled for the third book, so we'll see.

Not as enjoyable as Legend. I have finished Champion, and Legend was definitely my favourite in the series. I really hated Tess in this book though. Just_ UGH.
