It's so refreshing to see the protagonist not getting the girl.

A very wholesome and quite enjoyable book. It was nothing spectacular, but it keeps you interested to the end. Would recommend because it's a fast read and the plot is easily digestible.

This was an absolute challenge and torture to read. The worst part of Tumblr smashed into a book. There were moments and pages that tried to redeem the whole mess, but this was very far off. Extremely sad that such thing exists and that people are able to waste their time on it. Word vomit, portrayal of more than extreme obsession and complete nonsense.

The writing was beautiful and the portrayal of the characters was nothing I have experienced before. I went with no specific expectations and I was somewhat disappointed of some aspects and the whole point of the retelling, which is something very personal and concerns my views and no one else. Overall it was a very pleasant book and would recommend. So happy that I know what the hype was all about.

Mashing strictly rhymed poems with the modern type of poems, I think, does not go very well with the overall pace and overall aesthetic.
