I love short chapters. I loved her descriptions of nature. I liked how honest and real her relationship sounded. She made me think about everything that has to be done surrounding a death personally and bureaucratically. I just really enjoyed this book and the reminder that it is important to give yourself time to grieve but also moments to appreciate things that will bring you joy.

Mmmm yeah this was the perfect post exam binge read all my favorite parts of a Romantasy. No notes 🙂‍↕️

First of all, the narrator was so good at doing voices like I don’t know how she had that many distinct voices but about the book specifically it was like funny but also so accurate just about social media. And the ending is good. I really like the ending I feel like Julie is that girl like love her but also like she did do some stuff….

This is definitely a heavy read. But the structuring was good I really liked and the characters all felt like tragically real. It was good but yeah some tough stuff in here

It was a nice read love a fantasy enemies to lovers. Magic was different kind of fun.

It was fine. I liked the person doing the narration. I did not guess who did it at the end so that was fun. It was interesting how it thought through motivations and how sometimes it’s a bunch of small things that add up to something horrible.

Not really what I was expecting, it was fine. Always love an epilogue so there is that. It was kind of a tricky ending.

I liked it so much. I love how well she captures the relationship between dogs and humans and also dogs relationship with the outdoors. I love how goofy she makes them. I always love how she describes nature. Mary Oliver is just someone who I want to read when I want to have help appreciating the small things/the bigger world around me.

I liked it! I thought the world premise was interesting. I liked the idea of animals mutating and those killing off the regular ones. It was pretty surface level for some stuff but to be expected with YA. I was kind of surprised by the ending, it was open ended but very hopeful I liked that. This kind of got me out of a reading slump so another plus :)

Phew that was good, I like how fast paced her books are. Also how it’s more than straight mystery. The concept for this one was particularly sad but still good!
