It was what I needed, fun action, mystery, easy to read.
It was cute I liked the male pov and the like not sexual longing that occurred was nice. I liked it
I did not like the beginning. I almost gave up on it actually, but I really liked all the characters by the end. It was fun to put all the songs she mentioned on queue in Spotify and listen to them with what Percy said about them in mind. It was weird to read about a book set in early 2000s which is truly a kind of long time ago now wild.
I really enjoyed it! I love a who-dun-it. Also the voice did not sound old and it wasn’t hard to read. I just had a great time :)
Well finished this book sobbing god. The way the author described the plants and animals was so amazing. Also the focus on being a parent and grief made my heart hurt. Some quotes I liked: “because we have, all of us humans, decided to save, and that is ourselves.”

I mean it kept me hooked. I got used to the like style after a bit and there were lots of surprises which was fun. The ending was also interesting and didn’t end how I thought it would
I really liked the fig tree’s perspective specially at the end. I thought also the showing how different generations feel their past and all that was interesting. I liked the including of how war impacts animals as well as people. Also the way this book made me feel for a mosquito come on that’s crazy.
I really liked following the characters I liked how different their experiences and views and art differed but they all were part of the same world. I liked the imagery and descriptions of the art. A line from a poem in the book “ just to be on the first step should make you happy and proud”
Well that was chefs kiss romance novel had and touch of plot the characters with personalities the hot sex scenes and the cute scenes. I very much enjoyed. Also the banter was fire. I will also say the like time she spent having the character kind of say why she liked bdsm was nice
