Wow this book is so well written! I usually don’t enjoy first person POV that much but Grace’s mind is a fast and interesting place to read from. The plot twist was one I genuinely did not see coming and it made the story all the more compelling. I can’t even imagine what happens next in Grace’s story but it is sure one I’ll think about for a while.

Truly a wonderful read about so much more than the dystopian world Belle and Joni live in. Women deserve better than the world that we created and this book is a testament to that. And it’s fk YA which is baffles my mind cause this is such a important message for women and girl everywhere.

Pretty fun read if a little predictable at times. Sometimes felt like it was trying too hard to have twists, kinda wanted more fleshed out twists. Overall enjoyable don’t know if I would pick up the second book :)

It’s fine totally fine, and still sucks only getting luc’s pov because why does this book focus on his life and then not include a single scene from his perspective!? Also how many time can you write the exact same fk argument over and over again until it stops making sense. I kinda enjoyed some parts but mostly not really for me :(

I’ve wanted to know Haymitch his story from the moment I picked up the first hunger games book, even though the outcome is known. Even so to read how he came to be the person he is and learn what plagues him in such detail was heartbreaking. Thw covey’s story getting continued through his love for Leonore Dove was so amazing to read about and will stay with me for a long time. I loved this book and am sincerely grateful to Suzanne Collins for giving us the gift that is knowing Haymitch even better than before

Pretty nice read I flew through it really fast, did feel like it was quite boring at times. A lot of inner monologue from Luc where I would’ve liked to see more of Oliver’s thoughts as well. Side characters were quite hard to get into because there were a lot sprinkled around and I couldn’t quite keep track of the who’s who off them all. Allround fun read but wish they’d both be equally represented in the book.

Had fun reading this, the football aspect was really nice. Wished the ending didn’t feel so rushed. phoebe being diagnosed with having ADHD kinda got glossed over in the end even though it felt really important to her character

Loved these just as much as the first book in the duology and wished there was even more to read about these characters. The diversity and personal challenges of them comes across very real and genuine and made me think about my own. I haven’t loved a book this much in ages.

I don’t know why I put off reading this for so long I absolutely loved it!
The dynamics between the characters and their enemies are so well written, the world building on another level and just Kaz and Inej are so powerful.
Gonna go straight into the next book cause I need a happy ending that I probably will not get.

Loved this book! The little historical sprinkles throughout were great and it didn’t feel like they were forced into the story. Gave me some twists I wasn’t expecting but sure loved and made me laugh out loud! What more could you want in a book :)
