I need to know what happens in book 2 right now.
Her Dark Reflection is the first book in the The Dark Reflection series. If you like dark world setting and dark romance, i would recommend this book to you.
The story starts with Rhiandra who was injured and physically scarred by the trio of mens. She couldn't work in a place with the scars in her face so she left and she tried to sell her some things made by her mother. She met a strange man with the forbidden magic and he offered her that he would give back her beauty and promised that he would make her a queen if she did what he asked for. Rhiandra accepted the bargain and the stranger named Draven gave her an enchanted apple and told to give it to the King if she wants to become a Queen.
The plot was good, the world building was different and the characters are good as well. It was sad at the beginning when Rhiandra lost her beauty to the fire and she tried to accept her fate but that's when she met Draven. She didn't trust him a bit but did everything he told her. And he reminded her of the glamour she wore when she questioned him. The story was mostly politics and court intrigue. The romance was okay but it would've been nice if we got more of Draven but he was mystery throughout the book. Ending was a bit of a cliffhanger but good one I think.

I devoured this book in one sitting and yes, it was such an amazing book. It was not excepted what i thought I would except. I excepted that i would find a story set in Ancient era but the author planned a completely different story.
The story was interesting as well as intriguing from the beginning. Nora and Adam was perfect in their roles and the other characters are great. The actions, war between light and dark, banter, love, angst, lies, betrayal, romance and spice, everything was blended perfectly.
I am trying very hard not to give away spoliers and if i did, you will miss the twists and turns. I don't know what to say here and am completely in love with Adam. I broke when he revealed the truth to Nora and i anticipated that but still, cried a little.

What can I say ? I absolutely loved the story. Because the world building was different unlike I've ever read. It was beautifully written story and i loved everything. The characters are good.
What i loved most was the author balanced the parallel universe between hero and heroine. The plot was amazing with all the actions, suspicious, lies, betrayal, distrust, and elemental magic.
The story starts with a Romeria who was a thief and working for a mob boss. When she was tasked to steal a sacred stone, she was thrusted from her world to unknown world where she was a murderer.
She soon learnt that she poisoned her fiancé parents and now he became a King. And he sentenced her to death.
Caught between life or death, Romeria doesn't know anything in a new world or who was her allies involved with other Romeria. Now Prince gave her a choice to decide - His Queen or His Prisoner.

The Best book of Enemies to lovers tropes that I've ever read and i am in tears. The story was pure enemies to lovers.
The book was phenomenal and amazing in a way i couldn't just describe it in a words. She knew how to keep us on a chokehold.
I feel my heart shattered in the end. After that scene, i feel nothing but empty and hollow. I don't know how to move on from the book.
The author really knows how to keep readers on the edge from the beginning till end but it ends on a cliffhanger that broke my whole world.
I love Dianna and Liam so much and always will. They will always have a place in my heart. I felt everything what Dianna and Liam felt.
The story is full of actions and fighting scenes you'd die for. The relationship between Dianna and Gabby was worth it. Liam, oh my hot and gorgeous ancient warrior God King, yes you deserve Dianna.
Gods, i don't know how Dianna went through all of those things for her sister.
Dianna is a fierce, strong, attractive women i would die for. And Liam is always brooding. Him calling her 'my dianna'. Both are perfect for each other. The spicy was swoon worthy
I'm not here to spoil anything so you need to experience on your own.

I had to admit, i really had a high exceptations since the moment I heard of this book but it kind of disappointed me. I'm usually sucker for Seelie and Unseelie courts but that doesn't mean i should like every book in that trope so i was sad to say this. I tried to grasp my mind around the story but it's not for me apparently. I've to say that i enjoyed moments here and there and yeah, romance amd tension as well. The spicy scenes are worth it when you make out with your love and did he speak dirty ? Oh fuck yeah. I know. Like i said, some moments are worth it but not the story. It was very slow pace at first few chapters and kind of boring. You will get interest in the middle only to get bored again.

I'm not giving negative reviews or something. It's just my thoughts and emotions. I might finish this book later in the future. But i still would recommend this book if you are looking for a quick standalone, dark fantasy romance with steam worthy.

I loved it the same way like i did in book 1. The story is very intriguing and thriller. The world building is vast and more travelling. This book begins where we left Romy and Zander fleeing Cirilea. It has full of travelling and actions. Romy started to learn her new powers and Zander was confused and suspicious where his feelings for Romy is real or not since its discovered that whole bunch of nonsence is Malachi doing. We still haven't know what's his motivation to Sofie and Romy but it's progressing slowly. Romy is caught between love and prophecy. The prophecy doesn't make any sense at the beginning but it all clicks to place soon. Romy is practicing her powers and learns how it helps whenever danger comes. There is a tension between Romy and Zander throughout the journey but can't deny each other anymore since it was obvious. There's some mistrust with legions and she is trying very hard not to get on anyone's bad side. The story ends on a cliffhanger and i think we will get more of Zander in the next book.

Gothikana was my first read of RuNyx and it was good. The story was full of suspense, mystery and thriller. And when i say Mystery, you turn anywhere there would a mystery. Even you would wonder if there is any part no mystery involved ?
