My first read of the year!!

Unbreaking has become one of my favourite fantasy and the story has its own style with humans, faes, magics.

The author did her own book cover, not only that but also she drew art in between the scenes. That's what it makes more beautiful!

Zurilya, our FMC wanted to live happily ever after with her future husband so when she rescued Calstar, our MMC, charming and beautiful Fae, he was injured and she took care of him. Calstar granted her wish and left human realm.

After 500 years, Zurilya and Emilian, her husband did not love but hated each other. She wanted to find that Fae and break this curse. She did found him and bounded him to her until he finds a way to undo her wish.

Calstar was a shameless flirt, otherworldly eternal, loves strawberries, could heal wounds by licking (that was new), damn high born powerful fae, but he has own scars and darkness and he hides them behind facade. We get to see him more in couple of his POVs.

Zurilya and Calstar worked together to find a way. He suggested that he could make Zurilya and Emilian to fall in love but it doesn't work. Zurilya and her husband harbored hate and loathing to each other.

Aside from them, Zurilya being a queen means she has her own duties to her people so when the priest stealing money from the vaults and the secret rebellion is building to overthrow the crown.
Zurilya caught inbetween wanting to find a way to end her curse and trying to find a way to stop the rebellion.

The story has its own unique world, powers, side characters are amazing. The author was well written with tropes of hating, longing, betrayals, secrets and lies. The plot was definitely not a sunshine and rainbows but builded of using others for their own good and selfishness. There's still banter, forced proximity, hate-love, adventures.

The last chapters literally broken my heart and I damn well as cried. It was painful. But I couldn't wait to see them in book 2!

Of the Dark Moon follows shortly after the events of A Warrior's Fate, starting the story of Adrien and Raana.

We get to know more of Adrien and Raana backstory here and there and their relationship. Both are complicated characters where Adrien was The Imperial Heir/Prince of Wolves/Future Alpha of lo, wanting to cross a line between shouldn't want and couldn't have Raana, who was Fae/Witch, enemy to the wolves. The tension was enough to ignite a flame. Both are testing patients which was hanging on by a thin thread.

When Raana meets Adrien father, Cassius, threathens her to do whatever he says or she'll face consequences. This only makes already hard relationship complicated.

The author never gives a break for her characters nor readers with her heartbreaking twists. It's a nice change to see how forbidden love works out between those two. I can't wait to see what's happens to them!

The novella was 160 pages but it's enough to know about Adrien and Raana and the direction of next book. The ending was brutal!

Fantastic Story!!

I finished the book in one sitting. I loved the world building, characters are soo complicated. Book 1 feels like a warm up to what comes next!! Soo many things happens in a 25 chapters but it does ends on a Cliffhanger which I don't know what to make of it! I love how the author written, like post fallen world, how supernaturals feels around humans, what they only need from them. The plot was interesting and intriguing!! Can't wait to see what's all the secrets with Darriel.

My first pirate book read!!

I loved how the author narrated the story. The world building are easy to imagine and the characters are amazing in their own ways. I was eager to see what's all the fuss about. It was full of action packed, hurt, betrayals, longing, flawed characters, lies.

The story written how all the pirate movies were! You can vividly imagine evrything. It was a quest/adventures.

First half of the story, was slow paced with the heroine's life turned upside down all because she could draw a map like how her father taught when she was a child. Everyone fighting to get map on their hands and Freya, the heroine, crossed in between.

Second half of the story, was picked up with the fight sequence, ransom, a quest to find the rifts. The plot has some surprising turns of events and has sirens, creatures, long lost island.

I loved the ending with fighting the monsters and trying to save themselves from the evil women.

I soo can't wait to see what happens in book 2. I recommend this book if you love pirates.

Loved It.

There's no word to describe how much amazing the story was! I freaking loved everything. I thoroughly enjoyed from the beginning till the end. One of the fantastic book I've read! Can't wait to read book 2 !!

I love the story!!!

Nice story!

Fire Heart is the first book am reading from the author and definitely not a last! I loved how she navigated the characters, world building, the plot. It was well written and it was medium-fast paced, longing, angst, dragons, humans/elves, rebellion, slow burn, hate to love/enemies to lovers. Both interesting and intriguing! I loved Abraxax and Lore and their forced proximity. How they both worked together to take down their common enemy and the pain they felt because the mortal kings killed their Kind. Gonna read book 2!

OH.MY.GOD!!!

Is it possible to fall in love more with this book than I already do? I did. What an amazing story that I never thought I needed!!! It was painfully beautiful and heart warming romance!!! I loved and enjoyed soo much it hurts. This is the best fantasy romance I ever read in my life. I loved Night and Rain. They are wholesome and has my heart in a chokehold. Bernard is the sweetest thing and I really want to pet him. Night and Rain are the cutest couple and they make my soul sing! My, My!!! I clearly have no words to describe how much I loved. I'm sooo looking forward to the sequel!!

I FREAKING LOVED IT !!!

I have no words to say anything else because my feelings are completely shattered in the end. Is there a way to fix it back together? Yes, there was and that's to continue to read Torn Heart.
