Promises and Pomegranates are retellings of Hades & Persephone story. The book was good. But i didn't excepted what I thought I would and i didn't like it that much.
The story was about Mafia Princess Elena forced to marry Kallum who was doctor and also her father's worker. She asked Kal to take her innocence when she came of age and he did. Someone recorded their intimate moment and blackmailed Kal so he asked her father to give him Elena. She was already engaged to another guy and was killed by Kal on her wedding day. Now she married to Kal and flew to Alpana. Living in the manor, the tension between them runs high and ignited passion again. They both can't keep their hands off each other. Elena started to fall for him. Every intimate moment between them, someone records them ans sent to Kal. He tries to find who but to no avail. Her parents spreads rumours that she was kidnapped and captived by Kal. They didn't mind that much but soon it becomes a problem. Elena flee back to Boston for her sister's recital and met her parents to put them in their place but soon she discovers betrayal that cracked her heart in two. She thought she had everything but when the truth comes to light, her whole world crashing down.
The book has slow burn, grumpy/sunshine, a bit of angst, forced/arranged marriage, husband/wife, lots of spicy, betrayal, plot twists. This is a dark contemporary romance, please check Triggers

I love these series so much. Can't wait for the author to release all her books and reread again like i first time.
My top favourite character are Faythe & Reylan. I love side characters. I'm on edge from the beginning. I'm very excited for Book 5 and what would happen to our Faythe and handsome Reylan

Oh well, this is perfect story for me. I've never read Cupid stories before and let alone reverse harem. I'm glad that I got a chance to read this lovely, adorable, funny book. What can I say ? Never before I ever laughed or smiled or shrieked cause this is that type of book. Emelle is a cute little adorable cupid and three sexy fae males. The first book of the series is good and I can't wait to devour the whole series in one sitting.

What can I say ? I absolutely loved the story. Because the world building was different unlike I've ever read. It was beautifully written story and i loved everything. The characters are good.
What i loved most was the author balanced the parallel universe between hero and heroine. The plot was amazing with all the actions, suspicious, lies, betrayal, distrust, and elemental magic.
The story starts with a Romeria who was a thief and working for a mob boss. When she was tasked to steal a sacred stone, she was thrusted from her world to unknown world where she was a murderer.
She soon learnt that she poisoned her fiancé parents and now he became a King. And he sentenced her to death.
Caught between life or death, Romeria doesn't know anything in a new world or who was her allies involved with other Romeria. Now Prince gave her a choice to decide - His Queen or His Prisoner.
Would she try to convince her fiancé that she was not who he thinks she is and let her go or would she become a Queen and find stone before it's too late ?

OH MY GODS !!!!
This book has become my top favourite bodyguard/ Princess and it's my first time to read a such a trope and i fell in love. Yes, now i can't freaking wait to see what happens in book 2. That Cliffy, thankgod it's not Lorcan. I even thought it was him but he is a full of surprises and he didn't disappoint me. The story and the characters are amazing. 'I love everyone but hate him' trope is just 'chef kiss'. It's very slow burn book I've ever read and Tension, seriously i need to put down my Kindle for 5 mins and take a deep breath then continue. But after the confession, romance was swoon worthy and toe curling. Their friends should've give them some privacy so they would get it over with !! It was totally worth the stolen moments but still, something always happens to split them. Ahh, i was frustrated with their little group. I was like, just bang already with Zosia and Lorcan.
Ok, looks like i will keep on spoiling so here I come.
I loved every characters especially Kenton. He should've chose Scarlett. They were like made for each other. Raina, my sweet honey, sorry not sorry, you deserve better than Lorcan. Speaking of him, he should excercise more so become a good feet taller so our Zosia couldn't disappoint with him. They are lovebirds but unfortunately, birds can't make love when the war is looming.
I can't believe they died, WHY ??? I fell in love with a certain flyboy. I broke. The last chapters are action packed with fights and deads and big betrayal. I thought he was a sweet mountain guy who don't give a shit about others but has a loyal towards crown. Everything was a lie.
Seriously i need to stop typing and continue book 2. I'm anxious what i would find there !!!
