I absolutely loved this series and it's on my top favourites of the year. I'd give my soul to reread it first time.
The story was fantastic, the world building was awe, the character development was the highlight of the story, i mean, best in the way, it was slowly builded. It was one of my reasons to love this series. Secondary characters are funny and lovable. Everything that had happened has a reasons behind it. There are many scenes that left me gasping and raging. Obviously, there might a flaws but that was best you know, no one's perfect but you could accept them and move on.
The unique powers are mystery throughout the series but was more interesting than ever. It's uncommon to have not two but five males as bonds.
An 19 years old girl left her bonds and had been on a run for five years to save them from an evil psychopath. All she wanted nothing more than to be with her five bonds but the power inside her would grow uncontrollably which she didn't want to happen because that psychopath would hunt her down and her bonds. Unfortunately, she was found and bought face to face to her bonds and they loathed her 'cause didn't know the reason why she left them.
I loved everything in the plot. I love the books that has plot twists, make your heart clench in anticipation and anxiety, makes you jaw dropping or gasping for air, feeling horny and wet, maybe want to throw your Kindle across the wall, has you crying in the end and finally, left you feeling satisfied and happy.
I loved epilogue in the end. All of them content and enjoying their days.

It was a quick and easy read which i finished in one sitting. I loved the world building and magic system. I didn't expect it was set in a, kind of modern world and prison realm. I liked how the author builds the characters in their own unique ways and powers. There are many species they look like humans but not.
Rory wanted nothing more than to avenge her twin murderer so she took up a job where she brutally kills the abusers. After sentenced to live in prison realm for five centuries, she met the Umbra King Caius who looked exactly the one murdered her sister. Would she find a way to kill him or believe Caius when he says he had been in his realm for five hundred years for not committing his own sisters dead?!
Caius was a most Ruthless and vicious being, doing everything in his power to take care of his people, including Rory when his staffs attempted more than once to kill her.
The plot took a surprising turns of events, tension between them was 'oh, please', twists and turns, hurt, comfort, conflicts, and the ending was crazy. Literally, it made me crazy and angry. I wish I could know what happens next but need to wait for few months. Anyways, it was an amazing book.
Read if you love fated mates, enemies to lovers, revenge, morally blond guy with golden eyes and shadows, spicy, and found family

What a story !!!
I had been waiting to read this story since i heard of it. It was quick and fast paced, New adult fantasy romance.
Following a heroine, Arwen, captured by a enemy Kingdom and made a deal with a ruthless and beautiful cruel King, to spare her brother's life in exchange of staying in the castle and healing his soldiers.
I definitely recommending to those who love, witty banters, sexual tension, found family, witches, dragons, betrayals, lies, and twists. The ending will grip you and make you think- oh god, wtf?.
You could finish it off in one sitting and best for reading slumps.

I really wished that i could continue but how could you read sex scenes in each chapters and no plot?! I mean, there was a plot but not much detailed and world building. Just because they're mates (not a spolier) doesn't mean they need to fuck all the time and apologize for not telling the truth!! It was soo annoying.
I get that MCs confess their love to each other but why on a repetitive?? FMC is struggling with unknown dark power that grows inside of her and her dead mother haunts nightmares, MCs really need to find a way to stop or solve what's happening but they're clearly busy fucking so, nope.
FMC was actually mad at MMC because he didn't say the truth about who she was or where she was from which she was soo badly needed to know. I expected her to be angry with him, at least with half of the story but, again no, they fucked and couldn't resist each other.
Whenever MMC says, 'I love you' and FMC says, 'I love you more', 'yea, let's fuck until i couldn't think straight or walk'.
Phew.
This is really disappointing to me. It's really not my intention to say this but, there are limits for evrything guys. The author didn't write deep dive into character feelings and lack of evrything happens around them. Idk what to say more.
Well, i think other readers will love this series with many sex and less plot. Book 2 gets darker than book 1 and please read TWs.

Nice smut read!
It was my first read of the author and I loved it! I haven't read arranged marriage trope before, but it had become my favourite ones. If you love dark Mafia romance with Hades and Persephone theme, slow burn, undeniable tension, murder, revenge, spoiling morally gray hero, spicy enough to make you sweat, it's for you!

My first read of the year!!
Unbreaking has become one of my favourite fantasy and the story has its own style with humans, faes, magics.
The author did her own book cover, not only that but also she drew art in between the scenes. That's what it makes more beautiful!
Zurilya, our FMC wanted to live happily ever after with her future husband so when she rescued Calstar, our MMC, charming and beautiful Fae, he was injured and she took care of him. Calstar granted her wish and left human realm.
After 500 years, Zurilya and Emilian, her husband did not love but hated each other. She wanted to find that Fae and break this curse. She did found him and bounded him to her until he finds a way to undo her wish.
Calstar was a shameless flirt, otherworldly eternal, loves strawberries, could heal wounds by licking (that was new), damn high born powerful fae, but he has own scars and darkness and he hides them behind facade. We get to see him more in couple of his POVs.
Zurilya and Calstar worked together to find a way. He suggested that he could make Zurilya and Emilian to fall in love but it doesn't work. Zurilya and her husband harbored hate and loathing to each other.
Aside from them, Zurilya being a queen means she has her own duties to her people so when the priest stealing money from the vaults and the secret rebellion is building to overthrow the crown.
Zurilya caught inbetween wanting to find a way to end her curse and trying to find a way to stop the rebellion.
The story has its own unique world, powers, side characters are amazing. The author was well written with tropes of hating, longing, betrayals, secrets and lies. The plot was definitely not a sunshine and rainbows but builded of using others for their own good and selfishness. There's still banter, forced proximity, hate-love, adventures.
The last chapters literally broken my heart and I damn well as cried. It was painful. But I couldn't wait to see them in book 2!
