An enjoyable, hardy read with an interesting mix of history and fiction. I loved all the footnotes with explanations of important people, places, organizations and events in queer history.

A desolate horror full of grief and loneliness. I cried, but I enjoyed reading this so much.

A stronger horror anthology than most. A perfect Halloween read.

Such a fun little novel! The pacing was perfect, the atmosphere was glorious & I adored all of the characters - Edith, Helen & definitely Marlowe.

Was expecting vampires but got a happy surprise when angels and demons showed up. Yay!!

An engaging, accessible primary source about George Takei's childhood in two Japanese Interment camps.

I appreciated the full context of so many Japanese-American perspectives, including radicals and objectors, as well as the broad strokes on different lawsuits, court rulings, and help from others like Wayne Collins. This is a full, easily readable historical account.

Grisly and horrifying! An excellent addition to a classroom or a student's reading list. Despite the subject matter, it's very age-appropriate.

Visually - so cool and wonderful. I haven't seen a graphic novel done in this art style and it works wonderfully with the time period and energy of the moment. This is an excellent resource for learning more about personal experiences during the Japanese Interment in World War 2, and I'd recommend this for any elementary or middle-grade classroom.

I stayed up all night to read this. Beautiful & absoutely heartbreaking. I'm not crying, you're crying.
