The first third of this book was so promising it was looking at four stars but the whole section abt their friends was really boring and became irrelevant to the story. Reading the middle half of the book felt like everything and nothing was going on. The chemistry bwtn Dina and Heavy was palpable, but how the third act was executed was a letdown as it felt so rushed.

The beginning is kinda questionable in terms of when she gets pregnant?!?! But seeing the mmc embrace his new family and learn how to gain their trust and prioritise their well-being was wholesome. Him being a sheriff was kinda lame but whatever

I had fun reading this book too though, the time jumps made the story feel quite disjointed. The third act conflict was executed flawlessly and made sense, didn’t feel crazy in any way. Some scenes were corny but I had fun

This book was so fun and had me blushing like why don’t authors write more sports romances on rugby. A curvy fmc in a sports romance will always get a four star rating from me 😁
