i really loved this but the only downfall was i think it was rushed and not planned out well enough. but other than that it was amazing. i’m so so glad we got to see more Sibby and her backstory.

OMG THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING! I need the second book ASAP 😭 Monique’s writing is seriously impressive and I can’t believe this is her debut novel. This is a great start to a series and I’m in shock and awe! I cannot wait to read book two. I might have been giggling and kicking my feet while reading some parts.. I need all my friends who love dark romance to read this! Argent is freaking everything. Starlet is a great strong, snarky and intelligent FMC. I loved the side characters as well. The plot unfolds so well. There were twists I didn’t see coming and I appreciate those in books. Overall, this was an excellent read and I HIGHLY recommend!

I had to read this because all my friends on BookTok were loving it so I got the stunning omnibus. I loved this first novella so much! The writing style, humor and plot made it an amazing read. And the spice!! :nail_care: Phenomenal! I adored the couple in this and the found family. Carolina is funny, resilient and confident, i loved her character for all of those aspects of her personality.  Jameson is intimidating in the best way and almost as funny as Carolina. He knows what he wants and isn’t hesitant to go after it. He’s thoughtful and caring and a hard worker. He as well, has a confident attitude and isn’t afraid to show it. 
I highly recommend picking up this book. I am so excited to start the second book, “Falling for the Law of Cupid” next!
