A perfect vampire/witch romance for Halloween (or any time of year)! I love the tension and buildup in Isadora and Devraj’s relationship. Isadora doesn’t trust Devraj at first and he is absolutely smitten and so patient with her. Their banter and chemistry is equal parts funny and sensual. I appreciate the representation of Isadora’s car phobia as someone who struggles with a severe car phobia myself. I only wish that it was explored more in the story! The side plot was engaging and showed the growth of the main characters. I took a long time to read this because of stuff going on in my life, but it is definitely a bingeable paranormal romance!

I enjoyed this unique little romance more than expected! I was pulled in from the beginning. Forked is mostly lighthearted, with a dash of angst. As silly as the premise sounds, the story is more intriguing than ridiculous. I’m dying to know more about the mechanism behind the utensil transformation. Diving into the next book, Spooned, right away!
