As crazy as it is, it reminds me so much of my early 20s in the early 2000s. Beautiful artwork.

It’s an odd book, I enjoyed it and hated it at the same time. Holden is an idiot and I found it hard to relate to him an his issues “It almost killed me”. I was torn about the writing style. It was very repetitive, but just as in Ready Player One this is the voice of the teenager that’s meant to come through.

Lucky I read it now that the second book is out. This felt like an introduction to something much longer.

If you want to read this, I highly recommend getting the audiobook. The narrator does an amazing job with all the voices so that you know exactly who’s talking to who.
Although I really enjoyed this book, I’m not sure if I’ll continue with the series.
