Half of the time they were either eating, bathing or Nick was doing his shady things. Why didn't he give Kelly right away to the authoroties? Why did he bring her to a mission, where she almost got killed?

There was nothing and everything happening at the same time. The ending was rushed and towards the end the plot just vanished in the air and the story got confusing.

I feel like the author has never met a seven year old.
