This is my first book by Ms. Freida and I say she has lived up to the hype! Every turn brought me in and i was so uncertain of where this was going. I finished it in a day cause I couldn't stop, I had to figure out the end. This is my first 5 star read in 2024!

This was a solid love story. This mainly focused on the FMC and what she was dealing with in her small town which she overcomes in order to live a happy life with her MC. ! MC was very flat we literally knew nothing about him or what even made him like the FMC. But it was kinda cute and quick!

This a short novella continuing Jemma and Zekes relationship and it was still so touching watching them navigate the ups and downs of their relationship. I just know they are together happily right now.

Just wow…. The characters felt so real and had their own issues but they were also grown adults and were amazing to read. The pacing was incredible and felt like we’re on this journey with them. So so good and inspiring

The world these characters are in didn’t make much sense to me personally! I liked the spice and the characters dynamic but not much else. The plot was lacking and the side characters offered nothing.

FMC was a little whiny and didn’t have personality to me!
