My god I think this book solidified the fact that I actually think I hate this genre. The alleged romance didn’t appear until more than half way through the book and even then it was hardly there. No storyline, no depth to the characters, riddled with typos and the writing wasn’t even that good. I really need to read full descriptions of books from now on because I wouldn’t have read that otherwise

I absolutely loved how this book was written, finding out things at the same time as Shelley, although most of the time I did catch on to things before they were revealed. I have a feeling this might have been the intention of the author but still it was a great read.

My one little niggle (and I know this is supposed to be a feel good story and I’m glad it had a happy ending) is that realistically, the hospital would have found out she was pregnant or it was likely she would miscarry in a car accident, but I’m trying to overlook this as the story as a whole was wonderful. I think that the depiction of DV was realistic and well written, and I hope that Mick gets put in prison too, sad we never get to find that out!

A bit of a slow starter, and would say a little predictable. It also felt kind of rushed, it had potential to be a really good story but I just feel like it wasn’t quite done right? Good writing though and I did enjoy the intensity towards the end, though wouldn’t call that a massive plot twist, probably an overdone one if anything

Ahh I’m obsessed!! The adventure, world building, character building, slow burn romance! Literally had me giggling and kicking my feet like a teenager

I really enjoyed the continuation of the story, although once again left on a massive cliff hangar. I can’t quite place what I didn’t like about this one though, I don’t know if it’s because we get no Declan and Aoife interaction until right at the end, and to be honest I didn’t really care much for Tommy and Maura so I wasn’t as invested

Truly loved these characters and thought it was so well written, this one had so much action all the way through. But I have two bones to pick: one, the time scale was wayyy too short, like you truly expect me to believe three separate couples fell head over heels madly in love in the space of a few weeks?? And two, I love Tommy and Maura as separate characters but they felt so forced and I wasn’t feeling it at all. But apart from that what a fab series

Loses 1.5 stars for 1. Cuthbert the guinea pig dies and 2. The format at times gave me a stroke cause I didn’t know who was talking half the time

It was a nice story though but nothing spectacular
