If you enjoy a little murder mystery, conspiracy, science fiction, and time and space travel with horror elements all wrapped into one, then this is a book for you. It was definitely a book for me.

Things I liked: good atmosphere, decent mystery build up, enjoyable spooky moments. I also listened to the audiobook and the narrator does a wonderful job.

Things I didn't like: seemed exploitative towards people with disabilities, this is a common trope in horror and I find it lazy and harmful. The characters are difficult to like and their reasonings for decisions seem tenuous and mainly for plot movement rather than believable human actions.

Things that are related to my personal taste: I wish there were more spooky moments, I don't think the Nice Guy scene was necessary, and the ending/main villain weren't enjoyable to me because I think it was too predictable and not significantly different or subversive from many other horror stories/tropes.
