Jinnah of Pakistan by Stanley Wolpert

One I never understands when it comes to Jinnah is why authors never focused on his personal life? Biography meant to be for both the personal and professional sides.
Like many others, Wolpert too prefer Jinnah’s political view while ignoring the man’s personal side of the story.
Second the speeches and the dialogues were so badly edited that at times one lost count of where the sentence ends and dialogue completed and the narration begins.
Overall the style of wolpert is witty, and hod remarks on certain events and the way he conclude every chapter is something to read for.

This book has so much to offer. Inside of community, mostly consider weird.
This could be one of the books which makes you understand the narrative of the Muslims in other countries, societies and amid different cultures.
But nahh. Author decides to go for ‘queer’ ‘gender’ shot and ruined the book. And the irony of all is even the gender shot wasn’t played well!!
