i don’t think you understand how hard it is to get me to feel so negatively toward a book that has a boxing lesbians cameo and the plot hinges on a giant squid

Not horrible written, but just kind of boring. I did Henry no favors by reading this after the masterpiece that is Gearbreakers.

Andrew Joseph White does it again with a book that remains horror, with just enough passages about not hating being trans that it doesn’t take away from a horrors but also makes me tear up and want to offer up an organ as an offering. 20/10, adored
