It started out okay then it went to shit.
Vinderpick to Vanderpick. What?
I loved Mallory and her attitude in this book however, she gave in to Saint's dick a little too easy.
This book ended on a cliffhanger that of course, I have to dive in the second one.

Okay.
I brought out my keyboard for this review.
I really like Mallory and Saint on the first book and that one ended on a cliffhanger so I continued on the series. The second was just so bad because nothing happened except a little danger that wasn't totally resolved.
We get to the last book where I assumed all hell will break lose and we get to see Mallory and Saint figure shit around their fucked up parents. But we don't. Instead, we get to see Mallory think about Saint. Forgetting Saint after their last fuck. And the cycle continues on.
I was so into the twist of the real mother showing up, Saint's dad trying to get rid of Mallory, the hot Ghost, and how Mallory will deal with all the stupid shit surrounding her.
I. am. 99.9 percent. fucking. disappointed.
This book contained so much cursing that it will take me a full week to simmer down. In summary, most my questions were answered but not in a satisfying way. This book was more focused on Mallory and Saint finally figuring out how they really feel. Ending is a big disappoinment.
What happened with their money? Saint's dad's company? And Nora? For someone so vengeful to just stop? And what were they doing now? What will they do? Just overall disappointed.
One positive is that at least I liked Mallory and Saint. The back-and-forth was just emotionally exhausting and this book needed more sustenance. Ugh.

She wrote the word "behoove" too many times. I hate it.
This book confused me more than a physics theory. I do not understand what the characters are. Fae? Vampires? Hybrids? What?
I went and set my heart for Raiden as duh, the title says so. I thought the book would be about her and the Raiden fixing their fucked up relationship.
But noooo! Of course there has to be some sort of mating as fae is involved. I'm disappointed.
I WAS ROOTING FOR RAIDEN AS HE HAS MORE CHEMISTRY WITH HER THAN ZAD. Although, Zad deserved a better ending. So does Raiden.
The fighting... skipped so many pages that I do not get it. There was so much info missing.
Audra is an MC you will love! Such a cold-hearted queen that also knows and sees the rights and wrongs.
This book can be compared to a physics class. You'll get it at some points but not all. You'll finish the class with a passing grade but not with satisfaction if physics isn't your thing. ☠

I have this notion that if I take us back to the starting line, we'll never cross the finish line.
But they did! I love everything CoHo writes. I pre-ordered this without reading the synopsis, even when it arrived.
I, simply, do not know what to feel about it. I got spooked, hurt, and finally happy.
I loved Layla the first time but I kind of lost her in the middle. Willow is just there, and Leeds is somewhat infuriating at some parts.
3.5/5 ❤

Could not get into this.
It's so cringey and the writing is so... lacking (? - maybe JLA just isn't for me.) for my taste. I really need to reread FBAA.
I didn't like her WHITE HOT KISS - I don't know why I thought this would have a different style of writing.

"Lara, no matter where you are in the world, if you need me, I'll come for you. Please know that."
I'm crying.
I'm crying.
CoHo books are always a nice palate cleanser when I just finished a great book.
I love the characters and especially the confessions. I love how art was woven into the words written by real people. It gives the confession a bit more visual.
Confessions are hard to make but after reading this, I kind of want to make a million.
