This is sort of an anecdotal self help book. She makes some good points, but it’s very obvious she’s still a work in progress to implementing her resolution chart in day to day life. It also seems that she’s doesn’t work a 9-5 and lives comfortably, which she does talk about in the beginning, so keep that in mind. I do, however, like the idea of the book and I commend her on wanting to improve her life. I think anyone who’s looking to be more happy or content in life should give this book a try. Also, she has a pretty good list of resources to look over at the end of her book.
Reads like she copied and pasted her blog. There are a lot better books out there about minimalism. Don't waste your time.
I’m sure this is a great book of significant literary, philosophical, and spiritual value. Yet it is too dense for my unsophisticated mind to understand on the first pass. Perhaps if I read it 20 or 30 more times I’ll be able to begin to understand the brilliant concepts that Lewis put forth in this short collection of lectures he gave. Absolutely worth a read.
