Hard Girls by Martina Cole is the third book in the Kate Burrows series which can act as a standalone. Kate Burrows is a retired DCI & she's working at a police station as a part timer because her work has been her life & after her retirement she couldn't find anything better to do

The Best Laid Plans by Sidney Sheldon was so bad that I couldn't believe it was actually a published book! It was a joke! the whole thing was an actual joke!

This book is simply BAD. I would've explained but I got better things to do.

What even was this ?

Liked the "Spanish" part, the rest of it, not so much.

The main characters are EW.

Two stars for the Spanish Family ✨.

The conversation among the aunties was goood. Enjoyed the witty, humorous comments.

The whole dead body thing was ridiculous. Buttt if you don't think about it too much, the book is fun.

Not a fan of this genre, but this book might be the best one written in the "contemporary romcom" area or at least the best among the ones I've read so far, which btw isn't a lot (maybe because things made sense in it & people didn't do ridiculous things in the name of love? and also because it is centered around books? ).
