The Eye of Eternity" is a fantasy series by Mark Timmony. "The Blood of the Spear" is the first book of the series & "Starbinder" is a prequel novella to the first book. The story takes place some 2000 years before book one.
The Hunter's Wife by Anthony Doer is a strange short story, pretty different, almost magical.

"Postcards from South America" by Alistair McGuinness is a travel memoir teeming with exciting adventures. It takes the reader on a thrilling ride! Their first day Ecuador, their gruelling search for the foundation office as no one spoke English and their Spanish wasn't any good, the Spanish classes and the author's frustration, bunking the classes, the hilarious interactions with the travel guides, teaching English, being volunteers, time in Otavalo, the world’s highest active volcanoes; Cotopax, the time in Jatun Sacha, witnessing lava spitting from its crater, the Valley of Longevity, the largest mud-brick city in the world...it was all Super Amazing!!
✈️The book urges one to leave one's monotonous life behind and jump right into an adventure!
✈️I loved how it wasn't just a story of how the author traveled and saw new places, it was about his whole experience. I liked how he described his struggles. He had his doubts, he was scared but he kept going forward, he kept taking the next step, he kept pushing his limits, he had a dream and he made it true.
✈️The Author paints vivid pictures of his surroundings. One feels lost in the lines of the book. I could imagine the beautiful forest around me, I could feel the force of the water current, the terror of being in a mine at the time of dynamite explosion, the excitement of being so close to one of the world's highest active volcanos, the tranquility of the forest... everything was beautifully shown.
✈️I liked how the book portrayed the author's genuine emotions and nothing was too dramatic.
✈️The author uses simple sentences. The book is easy to read. It is good for beginners and it's a great gift for travel lovers.
✈️A sentence that really touched me: "I sat quietly alongside Fran, watching as the village dwindled from view, wondering if we’d ever return."
PS: I love Fran

The Parakeet Republic by Mubashir Noor is a satire centered around an unemployed individual, trying to get himself a job. It is a short story & I'm still trying to make sense of the fact that the author covered so many things in just 11 pages! The book talks about unemployment & what strenuous a task it is to find oneself a job, especially when one doesn't belong to the elite class; it touches topics like class difference, corruption, politics and of course the importance of money. It focuses on 'the people running the show'.

"Sincerely, Life" by Ivy Oaks is an epistolary novel which means it is written in the form of letters. This book was so...unexpected? I picked it up thinking it was gonna be a cute little read but then I read the "author's note" in the beginning of the book & I reconsidered my thoughts.

Ghabrana Nahi Hai by S. Mubashir Noor is 14 pages, 1 scene & I might've read it more than twice. It is a political satire with a ting of humour, a dash of sarcasm & a touch of supernatural. The author's writing style is beautiful & I don't think it needs any validation. I mean, if you still don't know that, you might actually be living under a rock
