The disability representation and language is not sitting well with me. It started off so good…

Didn’t even get far.
The writing was too matter-of-fact and not immersive. Don’t know how else to describe it. Was not emotive at all. Might get back to it because I dropped it very early but just wasn’t feeling it.

I loved it.
I read it low and slow to savour it.
And like many of Talia Hibbert’s books, I am very sad that it is finished. 🥹🥹🥹

One of the things I loved was the excessive hyperbole 😂😂😂 my level of exaggeration of the inconvenience of emotion always gets fed by Talia. Thank you. 💛💛💛💛 I also just laughed out loud so often with this book and I loved that.

Both of them are just so cute with their lovely friends and wonderful families. I loved them together. I loved them with their friends. I loved them alone in their thoughts.

I always really appreciate YA like this because man I really needed it when I was this age. I’m all warm inside now.
