This was pretty creepy. It did drag a little for me, and I guess I was hoping for more of a spooky ghost-like story as opposed to a spooky thriller. There were parts that freaked me out of course, but I think my expectations were set a little too high; especially since I've never seen the movie either. By the end I was kind of rushing my reading to finish it. When that happens it upsets me if I'm not fully immersed in a book. All in all it was good.

I think a lot of things I love about books, are books that give hints at the beginning, and you may think you'll revisit that hint again, but you're not sure and maybe you remember them but maybe you forget. But usually if you forget, there's always a part at the end that makes you go: "Ohhhh yeah, that makes sense now!" That was how this one was.
At first I wasn't sure about this one. I was about to just give it 3 stars and deem it the unfavorite of all the CoHo books that I've read so far. But then I kept going and I found that I really enjoyed it. There were a couple cheesy moments, but I've learned to kinda love them. The way the story wrapped up was very nice. I recommend this one, definitely.
