Not the best out of the series but still a solid read!

One of them should have died in the final battle! Rhysand’s half death doesn’t count, it just seems unreal that they should all come out alive.

Could it have been shorter? yes.
Did I wish it was? No.

Good (but lengthy) world building
The characters just were not quite enough to be attached too and care about but they were interesting, unique and good to read about.

One thing I will say, 800 pages, 750 pages building up to fighting the dragon and only 50 pages (if that) actually fighting said dragons. The final battle was underwhelming and had no negative consequences for the characters. After the intense world that was created leading up to it, it fell short

At first, I hated this book and thought I wouldn’t finish it.
In the middle, I quite liked it.
The end made me hurl across the room and question why I spent the last three hours of my life reading it.

Also please use quotation marks if you write a book.

I picked this book up because it had my name written on the cover, I never expected to enjoy it so much or be so moved by the end of it!!
well written, a fresh and adorable take on “found friends that can’t stay for long”
Go into it knowing as little as you can.
